Burgerpalooza

Burgerpalooza is Australia’s, if not the world’s biggest burger festival!

Returning for a 3rd year, the festival relocated to Prince Alfred Square, Parramatta on 22-23 September 2018 and featured live art, music, stand-up comedy and family-friendly entertainment.

The Brief

Tropicool were enlisted to secure Brand partnerships and provide hospitality solutions by securing a roaming license and managing the bars. Being a large scale food and beverage festival, brand partners were carefully picked out. 

Craft beer specialists Mountain Goat Beer came on board as the beer partner, and the demographic and alignment couldn’t be more perfect.

The Impact 

We set up a pop up bar selling Mountain Goat beer products with prominent branding and point of sale.

As one of the world’s most famous hot sauce brands, Tabasco presented the chilli eating competition. Special prizes were up for grabs for those brave enough to try!

Tabasco products were placed via smoked barrels around the burger stalls and 5000 Tabasco ‘mini’s’ were given away to further enhance the activation.

Results

• 7500 - people attended Burgerpalooza 2018
• 2674 - cans Mountain Goat Beer were sold
• 5000 - units Tabasco mini’s were sampled
• $34,650 - total ad value of press secured for sponsors
